throttle body upgrade

hey i was just wondering if anyone had fitted a v8 throttle body onto a v6 model or the 4 cyl model. ( tho i dont think you guys get the 4 cyl over in oz) just want to know how much of an increase ya get and whether it ####s with ya airflow meter? basically whether its works doin and what needs to be adjusted to do it. cheers

I've had a 65mm v8 one and a bored out 70mm one on my vp v6 and noticed a bit more throttle response but no actual power or accelaration difference. With a worked motor I reckon one would be good but with just a stock motor they're no good (thats my opinion anyway) im sure you'll get alot of people disagree with me but I know there's others that have done the same as I have and will back me up. And nah you dont have to change anything if you do decide to put one on, the new tb wont effect the tune or anything

As above all you really get is a bit more throttle response as your opening the throttle body less to move the same amount of air. If you can find a V8 throttle body cheap enough (I am talking like 40 or 50 bucks) then do it. Any more and it isn't worth it.
