odd and annoying issue

got a 90 vn and i got this really annoying issue with the ciggy lighter, works fine but when u turn the headlights on it does work :S

anyone have had this issue?

mine just shorts out and blows the fuse lol so yea dnt care dnt use it

I thought they were on the same fuse as the stereo, Don't know why its not working with the headlights on. Unless there is a short near the lighter.

I had an issue with another car where the A/C would work perfect until I turned on the Fog Lights, then they would both die, weren't even on the same fuse or anything.

check the power wire that goes to the globe on the surround of the lighter bet it is shorting out

You have an earthing problem, sounds like.

Try soldering a wire from the body of the ciggy lighter to a screw or something grounded on your trans tunnel
