    Default oil pressure problem

Hi all, i am doing a vr v8 to series 1 v6 conversion.
Have got everything done. When i kicked it over the oil light doesnt go out.
Just want to know if the oil sender is faulty if i disconnect it should the ecu turn the mil light on if there is no oil pressure?

    Cheers Shane

theres no error coding for oil pressure it doesnt even feed into the ecu best bet is fit a guage even if only tempory to make sure it has oil pressure

If the oil pump and pickup have been drained of oil, you must manually prime them before starting the engine or you will have zero oil pressure or circulation!
