Default Twin cat exhaust system on VN SS?

Hey i recently had a stage 3 camtech cam and chip put in my vn ss.

I've been told that the best way to get a bit more power out of it is to fit a twin cat exhaust system on it but was wondering how much of a difference it would actually make?

It currently has extractors into a single cat and muffler with 2 1/2" pipe and an over the Radiator CAI wiv K&N Filter.

would it also matter if i just ran it back to a single pipe after the cats or is it better to run twin pipes the whole way?

Any other suggestions for ways to get more power wivout stroking or bolting on would be much appreciated!

I would go to 3 inch if you have a cam in there. I dont know what emissions laws you have so dont have a clue about cats sorry mate

Do you have extractors? If so, a twin cat set up with twin 2 1/2" would be ideal. If you still run the stock headers, then go the single 3" but you need to fit a 3" cat as well, and make the pipe from the Y to the cat 3" also.

hey all jus lettin you's kno i went n got the twin cat system put on the other day n im very impressed wiv the result! could b a bit of a placebo effect aswell but its definitley pulling harder than it was wiv the old exhaust. Ended up putting a new set of pacemaker extractors on into twin 2 1/2" cats then back into a single 3" and would recommend to anyone thinkin of puttin a cam in too upgrade the exhaust aswell!
