i put a set of vr clubbys on my vp today and took it for a cruise round the block and the steerings all over the place help please
get an alignment and wheel balance done bro, you can damage your car driving it like that
are the tyres new or 2nd hand? when i had alignment issues, my old front tyres got absolutley screwed up. even when all my alignment issues were fixed those tyres would send my car all over the place. so if they are 2nd hand tyres than they might be all frayed and shit. just a thought anyway mate, good luck with it. you should probably still get an alignment and balance though like 'Showoff' suggested.......
yeah there second hand tyres with about 60 % tread on em just had a service done and got 4 new electronic wheel balances and after putting these on its frked soo i should take em off yeah. its just they look good lol
try swapping the fronts for the rears and see if that helps, unless the rears are stuffed too lol then you should probably get some new tyres on the front and leave the shit ones on the rear and just spin the rears up whenever you can lol thats what I did
i put the good ones in the rear and shit ones at the front makes no difference lol frkn shattered dun wana take em off ima taje it to the mechanic tomoor see what the problem is and go from there hopefully i can find sum 2nd hand ones cheep that will be fine lol thanks for the help man btw from ur dp that kit looks tuff
theres always gonna be a certain amount of 'bump steer" and "tram lining" when u switch to mags especially on a lowered car, wheel alignment and balance should get it as good as it can be. Any tyre place like bob jane ot beurepairs etc should sort u out cheaply enough.
yeah iwent to pedders and got a full check for 14$ and all he said about the wheels are that cause i bought the second hand the tread on em are not tooo badd butt not enogh to keep my steering from jumping all over the place lol soo need some new tread on the front two. ohh and having two diff brand tyres on the front is illegal according to the bloke working there ?
dont know about illegal lol but definately not recommended. different tyres will most likely have different compounds and will grip/wear/handle differently to each other so that may even be a contributor to the bad handling......
Its definately not illegal! You can have different type rims as well so long as they are the same size
hrmmmm yeah . thats definatelly why handling is badd. and as for it being illegal if use are right that guy at pedders talks shit lol
