quick question about the back seat arm rest.

anyone with a sedan, can you tell me about the arm rest in the back seat.
do they normally look like this

mine doesn't have the solid bit that this guys' screwed the fire extinguisher to.
it's just got the hard plastic bit round that, but the middle looks like boot lining.

Mine is solid as such - hard cover type I think.

I have a VP exec from 92 and the original seats had full hard plastic like that photo, then yesterday I pulled Calais style seats from a VN Lexcen VXi (which i think is on par with a Berlina) and it has the hard plastic too.

yeah i think the guy who had my car before me might have pulled out most of the boot when he sold it. i think there was a stereo install there.
