Odomoter Not ticking over anymore

Hi i've just realised after about a month of driving my vn, the odomoter has not changed from 307302kms which is rather funny 'cause 8 is my favourite number and 7 is my father's favourite number, and another thing i bought the car with these plates and the last three numbers are 422 hahahaha... but anyway what can I do about this? can anyone help or does anyone know why this is?

The cog in the back of the odo has probly got broken teeth you can grab a new 1 off ebay pretty cheap.. and there is a tutorial on here on how to change it.

i bought the new cog, does anyone have the link to the thread that says how to change it over, i guess its pretty straight forward but id prefer have something tell me what im doing rather then just go at it like a bull at a gate haha
