I re-build engines if you need one. also i build stroker engines if you are interested. Basic stroker motor starts at about $4500.

I think you should give the car to me, and even pay to have it shipped to my house

    Please take my advice

Some of those L67 motors do sell real cheap. Probly be cheaper to buy a crashed donor car from the auctions whichever way you go.
I've seen VN to VT V8 autos with 150 - 200K go for 1500 to 2000, can't remember how much SuperV6 go for, wouldn't be much more, maybe 2500.
Heh, my natural advice is always "Buy a donor car from the auctions"
I've got a gearbox problem = "Buy a donor car from the auctions"
I've got a engine problem = "Buy a donor car from the auctions"
I've got a blown interior bulb = "Buy a donor car from the auctions"
    I'm low on fuel....

ive just put in a l67 and getrag into my ute. and im yet to give it a real good flogging but the l67 is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. im not sure how well the getrag will hold up. but if/when it breaks im looking to go t56. as the extra gear would be nice

Getrags are apparently stronger than the T5. Mate had one (stock) on his VS with a turbo Ecotec and it lasted a fair bit of punishment (and he didn't baby it either).

blown V6 Hatch has a T5 behind a L67. doesn't seem to have any complaints

just don't do clutch dumps with a T5 and it will be fine. T56 would be nice but

I've heard the opposite. T5's being stronger then the getrags. They're simpler too.

And as if the T5 wouldn't be strong enough for an L67. They put them behind 5ltrs....
Honestly, for the cost/effort of doing a conversion you'd be silly to put another 6 in it.

    LOL

rumor is that the potential the L67 has is amazing and my mate asked at trade school (hes a holden mech) why theres no 5 speed L67 and the answer was 'there not storng enough' and when he said 'but that put them behind V8's ' and was told again 'there not storng enough'.

L67 has 171kw factory with 200Nm of torque less then then 5 litre's which where mostly 165kw with some 185kw version in the Holdens (non HSV)

with pulley upgrade, CAI, throttle body and full exhaust mine made 156rwkw and will be alot easier to bolt into his VN cos they use the same engine mounts
