Car Barely Registers Any Revs At Idle.

My VP has been hard to start for a few months. Now it starts first time but over the last couple of days I have noticed that at idle, there are hardly any revs and I am surprised that the car isnt stalling the revs are so low. The car is fine when accelerating the problem is only when idling at traffic lights etc.

clean throttle bottle, change spark plugs, and the vacuum hose on to the fuel regulator at the end of the fuel rail......its a start
