Hi all. Put the VN 304 in the VH yesterday (after much swearing) and the clutch fork at one stage got stuck on the steering shaft. I couldnt budge it so i turned the shaft to try pop it out and the hook on the end of the fork snapped off!! Awesome ! I said to myself... Anyway, has anyone successfully repaired a fork before? Bolted something on or welded etc...? Or do I need to replace the whole thing? Can I do that with the gearbox still in or do I need to drop the whole box out? Cheers.
Just bend up a bolt or a thick nail and mig it on to the stump ha. This will work fine if it's done carefully
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

It would be nice to use something a little more refined than a nail, but welding a new piece on will do the trick
