Hey guys
Ok so today on my way to sale today and about 15 min on the way there my alternator seized and cought on fireso i got a new on after geting towed home and well there is no melted wires ner anything but since the fire i have no idle it sits on about 200 revs and went for a drive and my temp gauge says the motor is over heating and fan is not working. Any advice would be good

i don't have my v6 anymore, but aren't there one or two hoses off the top of the water pump into the front of the inlet manifold, i'd be checking to see these are still hooked up and ok, also that's roughly where the coolant temp sensor is on the v6. it might even be under the alternator
