Knocking v6

I have just got a v8 throttle body for my v6 dragger and decided to chuck it on even though I dont have a good flowing exhaust or a better tune yet and when I started it within minutes she started to knock and lost excelleration, engine light came on aswell. So I shut it down and put the v6 throttlebody back on and it fixed the problem. Does this sound familiar to anyone? All I can guess is because it has a real good intake and with the v8 throttle body it must have leaned out and ran like poop because the exhaust couldnt keep up with what was been sucked in....??? Anyone able to help with this one?

Sounds like your tps sensor mate, put the tps sensor from the v6 throttle body onto the v8 one and it should fix it
