    Default Vs dash to vn?

So the vs is dead. Resulted from a lost fight with a Cherry picker.. Front end rooted.

Therefore I'm buying a vn sedan from a mate of mine.. The only thing is I dont like the vn dash. I've still got the vs in the front yard so I thought why not try a dash transplant.

Has anyone tried this? How much work I'd involved? Obviouslly there will be some rewiring involved for wiper swiches and stuff.. Air vents changed over... What about the instrument cluster? I'm a mechanic so it will be tackled by yours truly

yea i've seen it done to a VN before and a VL. With the VL there was modifying to make it smaller to fit in but the VN fitted good. You have to make some new attachments i believe cos it's attached to the car in a different way. being a mechanic i'm sure you'll figure it out, my mate that did it just figured it out and said it was easy and well worth doing. it'll all make sense once you get both the dashes out, you'll see how it works

Well that's it I mean their basically the same shape so it shouldn't take any reshaping of the dash but the brackets and shite behind it would obviously need some modification... But I'm a little worried about the instrument cluster... Does the vs one just bolt in to the original plugs?

straight fit - demister vents need some modding if u use the vn hvac box otherwise straight fit dont forget the door trims as well... and since u have the wiring loom change that over saves rewiring and trying to make things work
