Need opinions on my dash please! :)

I'm doing a vs dash conversion on a vp... I've got the whole dash in the shed all ready to be messed with... Now I just need an idea

reckon I should just die it black? (oh I want it black btw lol) or should I trim it I leather or cloth? The plastics I'm thinking of smoothing them and painting black, and custom trimming the door skins..

What do people think? My imagination can only go so far lol I'm in need of some insiration or ideas

I'm gonna try and do it myself as I haven't got much money (apprentice wages suck) but I'm willing to give anything a go

it's out of a Passenger airbag equipped car, so I'm thinking of making a second glove box or something with the cover where the airbag went since the vn I'm buying doesn't have airbags

so yeh.. Ideas people? Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated

Don't dye it. Painted plastics look tacky, are hard to keep clean, and if not prepped properly will flake off.

Personally I think the grey is fine. The second glove box idea is good though.

Dye is fine, doesnt flake because it is NOT paint lol
VHT make a good plastic dye you can buy at SuperCheap, auto bahn an all the places

Yea definately a dark colour like black or real dark blue or something. Has to match everything of course though. Second glovebox is genius idea

Yeah that's it... I'm going black with grey highlights... I'm gonna do as much as I can now with vynil die... And eventually I'm thinking of retrimming the seats in black with grey baseball stitching should look awsome I think...

And the second glovebox... Don't see the point in wasting the space lol I might hide something in there don't know what tho

I'd do it black, but not glossy. Glossy black looks cheap and nasty.
