VN commodore wont turn over?

hey guys... jst joined up aii... n im havin a lil bit of trouble wit my VN atm... i bought it off a mechanic who recons he has reconditioned the motor.... its a 3.8ltr. but she was runnin fine but i lost my licence n had been sittin for about 4months.tryed to start it bout a week back it would at least turn over.. could hear the starter motor click. so i tried too jump start it... n then nothing my lights started flashing n i can hear a faint beeping sound. i pulled the battry out n charged it over night n still nothing checked all my fuses.. trip computer?? or starter motor.. ?? i have no idea. what have i done hahah

Clean the battery terminals on the car, and the posts on the battery.

If still no go, the battery might be dead mate.
If you've tried charging and still no go - well, you know.. they don't last forever

sounds like the battery is flat. If it won't start with a charged/new battery make sure the fuel pump still works.
