my vp sedan exhaust is rooted with holes riddled in the muffler. so i bought a vr stock exhaust and was told its a live axel. my car is live axel but i had a look and it bends right over the top of the diff it looks like the vr exhaust doesnt have a big enough bent in it to go over the diff so i was wondering if its irs or live axel, or if there is any differences between the vp and vr exhaust ??
cheers mate hopefully its right i will just have to see when i put the new 1 in hopefully it fits![]()
irs usually has 2 mufflers side by side about half way along then the pipes join back togehter

live axle
VN 3" V8 exhaust fit V6?
could be a calais exhaust, i'm pretty sure they were different. anyone feel free to correct me, might have just been calais with IRS that were diff. Pretty sure IRS exhausts run under the driveshafts and live axle over the top.
ok here is a pic if people can help my vp 1 has a flange joint then a flexi mesh part and a big diff bend the vr 1 has none of that and does not have a flange bolt up rather it clamps together ??
so does any body know if this is maybe an irs ???
it looks like vr irs (wont fit live axle vn-vp-vr)
and what do you know just my luck it must be a irs not happy now so went and bought 1 from repco![]()
so just letting every1 know that said a irs will bolt up but from the diff back it wont. it wont at all, the bends are slightly diff and deffinatly will not. but thanks everybody 4 the help![]()
