    Default Replacing inner cv boots on IRS

    Hiya all,

    Took the statesman for it's rwc today and I can do most of the work but I have never attempted to replace the inner cv boots, as stated on the rwc, anyone have any idea's or tips, also the front-outer stabaliser bushes need replacing, which ones are these ?

    Stabaliser boots were the link pin ones, easy fix, but still need help with the inner cv boot.

    to do the inner c.v boots you need to rasie up the car remove the c.v shaft from the diff by unbolting the allen key bolts then with the shaft hanging down the tin plate on the side of the shaft that you have just unbolted remove it and you will find a cir clip on the inside take it off and the c.v joint will come off ( it may need a sight tap with a hammer to remove from the spline)

    Sorry about the delay, so you think it's a pretty easy job then ? will have to attempt the master cylinder to start of next week, not sore i'm looking forward to that one..
