    Question Interior Designing

Hey guys, I'm after a couple of ideas to do up the interior of my VN commodore.
I'm going to leave the body completely stock besides a stock VR clubby wing and a Group A bonnet scoop, OR GTO HOOD with dark red lights under it (hooked upto a relay system that they turn on when the car is at a certain RPM or throttle position (: )
I am making a sleeper car, doing little bits here and there to the engine to give it a little more go such as ultra light tappers, RAM AIR system, advanced spark map, throttle body, dyno tune, and a bit more but we don't need to get into that.

The sound system is all ready to go, I know what I am going to buy and you can ask if you like but it mainly consists of Clarion, Rockford Fosgate and Pioneer.

But what about the interior lighting? The seats?
It is currently an Automatic Column shifter, but I was wondering if it would look alot better taking out the bench seat and putting in the console and the T shifter insert down the middle?
I'm going to maybe put a couple more speakers in where the drive train hump in the middle of the car runs (in the back obviously) with blue neons around them.

But what else guys? Racing seats? Neons? Leather seats? Different dash? I'm open to many many ideas, because this is my first car that I bought ROAD WORTHY for $950, and instead of working my ass off constantly to pay off a car that i bought from a dealer that I needed to take a loan out on, I am going to keep this one and make it a bit more modern and upto todays standards of cars and use it for as long as I can to save $$$

Please, any suggestions are more than welcome!

Also, I have a stupid $2 tacho that I am going to get rid of, should I put in a new LVL2 dash? and can you get a new design? I have taken my dash out and the pannels look a bit interchangeable? So would you be able to change this to look a bit more modern?
I am going to put a Calais dash in, so I can get the extra buttons and what not so it looks a bit less blah, with electric windows and central locking. Just anything guys tell me what you think would make a VN interior look good. Your opinion counts!

Thank you david for your input, I'm just a very organised person and I need to set out a plan for what I'm doing before I do anything, hence why I am rushing through this stage.

Come on guys, 41 views and only 1 reply from someone other than me? Surely there are more people out there who know what they would like in a VN commodore!

Don't add crap like racing seats.... My opinion.

To make it look tops, you must colour code EVERYTHING. So it all looks like it is supposed to be there and fits in. There are DIY guides on here about how to paint/change the colour on various interior parts. So even before you put the dash in, figure out which colour/s you want to go with and change it all BEFORE you put it in. This may include lighting, dash parts, door trims and even recovering the seats...

    My input

Ohh and get some real dark tint, (Just BLACK, none of that weird coloured shit)
    I build websites for cheap.

As I'm gettin older now i like classier simple mods such as calais/statesman interior bits, nice wheels, lower, mild engine mods and keeping the classic lines of the outside as it left the factory. it all comes down to personal taste, what you like might not be someone elses cup of tea so modify it how YOU like it hehe. Have a look through the VN/VP photo's on here for some ideas and to see what looks good to you.
