    Default VP damaged Vapour Hoses

    Hi,
i filled up my tank 2day and it is leaking petrol. After closer inspection i found that the 2 Vapour Hoses that connect to the vapour seperator are completly off and leaking fuel. cannot reconnect them as the rubber is damaged.

Does any1 have some advice on where the hoses lead to and how i go about fixing this problem. I went out and got a couple of mtr of hose but dont know where other end leads to. also gonna do much dmg if i drive like it is for a while or atleast till i catch on fire!

    Much appreciated,
    Sirsmokeallot

Is it the hoses that go around the filler part? if so, happened to my VN. the hoses just go round the back and don't connect to anything, a picture would confirm this if you have one

they go to the top of the tank, there a bit of a pain to change, I just did mine 2 weeks ago. I just dropped down the tank a little bit (be careful not to drop it down to far because the hoses go threw the chassis and the larger hose is a pain in the ass to put in if u brake it) enough to get my hands to the top of the tank without disconnecting or braking the larger hose, then just take off the 2 small hose's and run the new 1's threw.

How do you check them? I get the over powering smell of petrol whenever I completetly fill my car. But only when I completetly full otherwise its fine. Could I be having an issue with these?

Possibly, stick you head under the back wheel on the side were petrol cap is, behind the mudguard and have a look for fuel leaks.
