    Question Which colour?

    Hey,
Only a few weeks now til my VP is sprayed, but I can't decide which colour. The original idea was to go black, the bitch is that only the exterior is being sprayed, leaving everything else the original colour, I don't really care about the boot/engine bay, but the doors when open will need to be painted the colour of the car, because I don't want the difference being that obvious. I've photoshopped a few photos but I still can't decide. Its going to have a GTS kit put on it just before its sprayed, and an SV89 style bootlip, also will be retrimmed interior to white, if that helps. I wouldn't mind going back to the original colour, don't know if it matches the GTS kit, but it would save a lot of detailing hassles.
(This is my cars colour now - 2B074 Sapphire Blue):

Here are some photos, sorry for the dodgy photoshopping:

3 (this is my attempt at photoshopping it to the colour my car is now):

    and the original idea, 4:

    All opinions welcome, thankyou

like the blue ones better, probably the lighter one - black is a bitch to keep clean

actually, trying to meet halfway between the original colour and baby blue, what does everyone think of Ford Blueprint (code UU). Ignoring the fact it's a ford colour...

sorry to bump, should i keep the mirrors and handles black, or colour code

P.S - decided keeping the original VP blue is best idea, but my friend whos doing it says he'll add a little tint and pearl to it.

Once it's painted you can decide for yourself if you want to keep the colour flat all the way through or break it up a tad.
I got mine resprayed and there's no way I'm doing them colour coded.

But don't forget, it's your car, whatever you like, you can do to it.

BTW pearl over original colours looks pretty good, seen it done on a VS Statesman Alaskan White with Blue Pearl and also an Orange BA XR6 with Orange Pearl.

I like the black too but the fact I can only have the exterior sprayed makes the idea bad, I'm picky with that sorta crap, and having a blue engine bay, boot, door cavities and things over a black car, couldn't face it :P

i voted for original colour only because your only doin the outside if it was a full body spray i would go black.
