    Default Squeaky clutch pedal

Hey all, I've developed a squeaky clutch pedal in my VN V6, and at first I thought it wouldn't bother me, and that it'd eventually go.

Now, it's still there, not loud, or anything, and only happens at the very end of the pedal travel (Away from carpet).

I've tried spraying Inox (Similar to WD-40) over all the parts I can see that move under the dash, and it's still not gone.

May I have missed something? Or is it something else?

If I leave it, will it do any damage?

People are too obsessed with how much "power" their car makes....it doesn't make power, it produces torque, from which this mythical "power" figure is calculated.

I've done the new bushes on mine, (in my case) it's not that... Seems to be the point were the cable passes thru the very end of the sleeve, on the pedal end. Both my cars do it, tried everything.. no luck So i just deal with it haha
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

My car did this and it was the worn pressure plate fingers vibrating the throwout bearing and the noise being transmitted down the cable to the pedal...the giveaway was that the noise totally dissappeared when the engine wasnt running.
Before I took the clutch apart to prove it wasnt the cable I took the cable out and checked it and it was alright so then I changed the clutch itself and noise gone but now the pedal vibrates on light application and the problem is its worn on the shaft that the throwout bearing runs up and down on called a bearing retainer........the wear causes the throwout bearing to shimy just when it gets loaded.Got a new retainer to fix it with...only wish I had changed it when I had the gearbox out when I replaced the clutch.

It could also be the ball pivot inside the gearbox squeaking. Some high temp grease will fix it but you need to remove the gearbox.

Most of the time it's the friction between the cable shackle and the pedal hook. Spray some lithium grease on the shackle every service and it'll never squeak again

really sorry I am bumping this thread, but are you able to provide a link to the clutch bush? I'm on rarespares now and can't find what you're talking about. I'm looking to replace mine to see if it solves the problem, my stereo usually masks up the noise (lol) but when it's not on, it drives me insane.
