hey im looking at buying a 1989 HOLDEN COMMODORE VN EXECUTIVE 5 speed manual it has 260000km its a hsv ls model build no. 77 it has had full body respray been fully debadged HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH 2 1/2", EXHAUST AND EXTRACTORS, PROFESSIONALLY LOWERED, 3.9 DIFF GEARS AND MINISPOOL BUILT BY RACE SHIFT, 90L DROP TANK, 15"x7" GMH INTERCEPTOR RIMS WITH CENTRE CAPS AND CHROME LIPS FULL VN CALAIS INTERIOR WITH VS DOOR PODS, 5" MONSTER GAUGE TACHO, MP3 CD PLAYER, 2x12" CLARION SUBS AND AMP and it comes with 9 months rego and a rwc the seller wants $5000 is this worth it just need some good advice about it

There's a lot of extra's and work done that would have cost more than that but it's still a 1989 VN and unless you really like VN's I'd probably get somethiong newer at least a VT.

Have a look in the cars for sale forum, there's better than that in there on a regular basis and much later models too. You planning on getting a roadworthy with the mini spool fitted?

mate i wouldnt from the list you just made it sounds like a p plate thrash car. i would look around and find something that wont get every cop wanting you even if you buy stock and do the mods yourself

its a VN with new paint (who knows how well done) with basically stockies with chrome lips on it, an exhaust and a minispool and lowered. lol not worth $5000, u can list alot of things done to a car and make it sound like an amazing deal but i would keep looking haha. i mean its a 1989 VN...

The real question here is. Does it have a cop chip? If so, I'd offer 7k, just to make sure you got it.
