Default 500$ to upgrade my vp executive.

I have 500$ and was thinking of a few performance upgrades i could do to my STOCK VP.. was thinking of getting a pod filter but i heard the stock air box is better. Or maybe something to do with the exhaust. I was thinking about pulling apart the engine and cleaning the entire thing but I'm not sure if that would be worthwhile. Any help would be appreciated,
    cheers

save the money and wait for the inevitable failures...
crank angle sensor, fuel pump, dfi module, coil packs, power steering, heater tap valve, thermostat

    some other suggestions

extractors and a cat back exhaust
    lowered springs and sway bars
    steering wheel
    stereo / speakers
    front seats

clean any oil sludge out of sump (and change the oil)
    flush the cooling system

also maybe suburb for location in profile (remove your street address)

First give it a good service then I'd go with cold air intake and a chip for starters, then probably extractors and exhaust.
