Question Fuel reg on A VP?

Hay just wanting to no if the 1992 VP commy berlina comes with and AJ Fuel reg standed as theres one on my mates car that looks old and (part of the set up). He got the car from an older ONE owner person that wouldent even open the bonnet let alone Mod it.

Any heap or idears why its there on a standed motor that Id say shouldent need one?

    Thanks Rich

Adjustable fuel reg? V6 no. V8 no idea, leaning towards no. Once I snapped the bolt holding it on while trying to take it off. Just got another complete right hand fuel rail from the wreckers. All the same lol

Ohh read your post again. Not sure why theres one on there. NZ different maybe? I know they diddnt run a cat over there.

Ok. Its not the fuel reg on the cars right hand fuel rail (that it also has) Its bolted to the TB cable bracket at the back and runs on the cars left fuel line. Its got me stumped, Can I take it out or use it to to get more power or best left alone?

Ohhhhh it just clicked to me what it is. Had me confused when you said its bolted to the TB but then I remembered. Its just a fuel damper. VN's dont have them, I remember pulling one off a VP. I dont think removing it would increase power and Im pretty sure it isnt adjustable.

Notice if you turn on a tap in your house then quickly turn it off you may hear pipes shuddering. Thats pretty much what it helps reduce at the fuel rails when Im assuming you jump on/off throttle quickly. But then again I dont know how bad it is without one. Diddnt notice a problem with the VN lol
