Default Should the sway bar linkages have movement?

My cars steering wheel wobbles a little bit when driving so i had a look and the swaybar linkage rods (called stabiliser rods in the haynes book) seem to have decent amount of movement in them. I can visually see that the rubber bushes are cracked and perishing. I have order a replacement kit for both sides.

Does anyone think that this would be the problem?

Unlikely to be the wobble but worth doing anyway, just about every VN onwards Commodore front swaybar endlink i see till they went to jointed links is stuffed, OEM replacement rubber bushes outlast the polyuretahane aftermarket ones by a huge margin but having said that the nolathane 'z' link kits seem to work well
