Hey guys, I plan for my father (an ex panel beater) to do a paintjob on my white commodore VN.
I will be doing an auto to manual conversion first, but afterwards I want to paint it silver or darkish blue like on the Magna VR-X's.
But today I was flicking through the local stores Commodores magazine while my burgers cooked, and saw a commodore VN with the exact silver I wanted on mine, and it didn't seem to have any different bumpers or anything! It looked great how it was modernised with new paint yet still kept the origninal VN feel which I love!!! SO My question is, because I always thought you had to get a new kind of bumper to paint it, can you leave the original bumpers on and paint over them?!
id have to say why not mate.. my vp gts was white, its now the new holden orange colour.....
Sand it , prime it, paint it, should be fine.
