um i think your going to have to run series 1 everythign including radiator. It's going to be a bit of stuffing around as everything backwards on series 1 motors

The problem with that is the PCV system Series 1 they run a tube out of the rocker into the inlet manifold. Series 2 there are 2 holes in the heads which match up with 2 holes on the inlet manifold. On Series 1 heads these holes arent there so you will need to drill a couple of holes in the correct spot so the system will work. if you do it this way try stop as much of the swarf as you can from going into the engine. Another option is to pull the heads off and drill holes or swap them with series 2 heads.

yeah series one radiator overflow tank raditor hoses fairbit involved. theres also going to be some wiring mods as some of the sensors are at the back of the motor where the thermostat is. I suggest you drill the holes not that hard really.

you can get away with drilling 1 hole the front drivers side head or can drill no holes just run a series one passenger rocker cover on both sides and push the pcv valve into the rocker cover gromit and run a hose for it into the inlet manifold.i myself would just get the header tank for the s1 setup its all you need will work with the s2 radiator just fine
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
