engine rebuilding

hey guys im stripping my vn series 1 engine to freshin it up, just after any tips on wat to buy with the reco kit so i get the best results wen im finished, its had some cam work thats all iv found out at the moment, any tips will help

How do you know its had cam work?? Depending on what you mean by rebuilding are you talking new pistons rebuilt heads or just changing gaskets?

when i did mine earlier this year it was a minor rebuild no major work done....

new .40thou oversize pistons
new lifters
new valve seals and springs (valves just lapped and reseated)
new lifters
new timing chain and tension-er
cam, crank and balance shaft all pretty much just got cleaned up nothing replaced, and that pretty much all i did
