    Default Battery Mount VP

    Guys/Girls..

I have a slight issue with the battery mount on my car. It doesnt clamp down the battery lol..

I have checked the plastic mount itself against my parents VS (as I thought it may have been damaged, but its perfectly fine, something has happened, where it isn't long enough.

As this is a RWC item, I need a way to clamp the battery down.. (please refer to pics)

    Any ideas?

the side opposite the hold down bolt is probably bowed out towards the front of the car or the lip has rusted off

I looked deeper into this, and it seems the lip, isnt rusted and the metal hasn't been bowed, howver lip has been flattened?

I believe this could have been an issue/fault when there was panel beating done on the car in previous issues

(before anyone says - take the car back to the panel beater - not a viablility)

I'll post the pic up soon.

For that, you have to drill into the side closest to the headlight for the bolt into the metal work?

If you get what I mean?
