Hey all
Ive got a VP sedan, If i just buy VT calipers, and worry about the rotors later, will they bolt straight up and be fine with the front rotors??
VKC
well techinically they will bolt up fine... as such dunno how they would sit over the rotor tho..... ... but they use the same 2 large bolts at the back to bolt on
pads hang over the edge of vp discs not a good idea
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
plus Vp rotors are way under the min size of a VT disc even when they are new, you risk popping the piston out of the caliper and losing the brakes.
Ok. Thanks. I'll get rotors then.
You have to buy adapter hubs to fit the rotors as VT are a floating rotor and separate hub where as vb-vp are all the style with the rotor also containing the bearing as 1 assembly. Also you really should upgrade your master cylinder if you do this conversion, reasons why have been covered a thousand times.
Serious man? Sounds like too much trouble for now, I might just hold off and get my VE kit
Your VE kit, get away from my shed!
