VN V8 Cruise Control install

hi all,
i've got cruise control switch block from a VN and a cruise control module from a VR V6, does anyone know if they'll work on my 5L VN?

IIRC modules are the same for V6/V8 from VN-VS, it's just the mounting location that's different for V8's

The only difference is in the cable as far as I know. My V8 module mounded behind the air box and the V6 units down on the side of the chasis rail under the air box. You will need a V8 mount braket for the cable too. The wiring is all the same between V6 and V8. I've madea few cruise wire kits now and it's reasonably easy to do if you can follow wire diagrams.

You will need the engine bay loom that comes around to the fire wall, then you run 2 wires to the cluster plugs (green and white) breown and grey/green to the brake switch, blue, pink, grey black and grey green to the switch block. Pink also goes to fuse No 1.

thanks greenvn, you're always there to save the day. are you saying that i only hook it up to the switch block and the brake pedal? no wiring to the ECU?
