Gear stick and hand brake conversions?

Hi
ive been thinking about swaping both my handbrake and gear stick
from standard vp. to a vy handbrake and gear stick.

as the vy handbrake is on the side instead of in the middle of the console
and the gear stick has a larger sliding slot.

i need to know if this is possabile with out a whole interior swap etc etc
before i go pulling my centre apart and spending the money on parts

there's a guy on the other forum with an interior where he's done it, it's a vn with a vy front and lights, it wouldn't be easy, and probably needs some modding on the trans tunnel, depending on how you do it.

ah yes, i dont want to go as far as the whole bumper etc. just the gear stick and handbrake

nah, but it's really well done, vy front end, turismo blue with white vyss rims and an intercooled l67.
