VP shuddering

Im sure theres been a few posts about this, but i couldnt find an exact..

My mate has a VP and when sitting at lights it shudders, what feels like from the back of the car moving to the front.. Not exactly sure, when putting the car in park its fine thought. Didnt notice if it shuddered while driving, only noticed it when sitting there.

so to be sure of exactly what you mean........ when its in park or neutral its fine, when your driving along at speed its fine, its only when your in gear and idling not moving? also how often does it shudder, is it a constant shudder or is it like every few seconds?

Im headin round there a min ill take it for a drive, It doesnt shudder in park, but ill test neutral. Couldnt feel it shudder while driving but ill double check that. And it starts shuddering from back of car then you can feel it moving to the front, then it starts from the back again. Its kinda wierd and hard to explain. Ill try finding a better way to explain it when i drive it again.

Ok it only shudders when sitting at a lights or something, so when car is in drive and foot on brake. Wont shudder in park or neutral or while driving. When holding the steering wheel you can feel it moving from the rear to the front, and the steering wheel vibrates more as it moves through the car. Then it starts from the back again. Has anyone had this before?
