Was installing ( I actually watched Mark do most of the work, I have never been that far inside my dash before....)..the climate control bizzos today, and took the opportunity to pull my cluster out, and replace the tiny globe thingie from on top of the cluster..(light from it glows through an opaque rectangle in the top of the dash onto the speedo dial only...a bright-ish yellowy-white ..........).....now, as soon as the ignition is on, the speedo is lit....even with the headlights etc turned off....that way , the previous owner ( the Law.
.)could drive around behind people and clock them without being seen...(1st time I have been able to see my speedo at night....)...I had an auto elecky in NSW look at it once.....he said that all the dash lights worked fine.....maybe he didn't realise it was an ex police car and didn't see it???...all good now though..
.. and will finish installing the wiing for the cruise control next week..... we got the box thingie in under the air-box ....Mark and his Hammer=drillll.................lol.... :rat:
