I've recently discovered I have a leaky master cylinder in my vn v6. I plan to carry out a brake upgrade in a yr or two as I will be dropping a 304 in, so I was considering the vt twin piston upgrade. Money is tight right now, and my rotors and pads are basically new, so I was thinking rather than chuck another vn master cylinder in can I use a vt one? That way it won't need to be upgraded in the future?

Just get a 1inch master off a V8, will be plenty.

My vh runs vp discs all round and I changed to a vt master/booster in place of the stock setup and it works a treat.

Oh ok awesome as thanks for the help so far, so am i better of going with the vt master and booster or the vn v8 one?
did you notice any difference in braking just by changing the master and booster to a vt one?
i just upgraded my front brakes couple days ago
im running the vt set up and it bloody good better than the v8 ones i had on my vr
but dont change your master cylinder for a vn v8 go for the vt it works better
because im still using my normal vr v8 one and i have 2 press the pedal a bit harder than before
plus it still feels ther air in the brake lines but at least it stops so thats good for me so far
I run the same setup and Markovr on my 3 VN's. VT M/C and booster (modded rod and brakets) with stock calipers and rotors. Cheap upgrade and well worth the effort.
You will also need a set of line adapters. ($70 or $80)
