Trans/ Diff issues

Hey guys,

Just done a changeover of my auto trans on the weekend.

I know that my diff is pretty much effed but can that affect the new box or not??

Im getting a new diff within the next week or two [LSD ] but want to know if i should not drive the car as much as usual?

i dont think a bad diff can stuff a trans but ive been told by my mechanic that a bad centre bearing in the tailshaft can, due to the vibrations/movement im no expert on this though so correct me if im wrong fellas..
