Sorry guys pretty dumb question but with the new box i put in i think we made the kickdown cable too tight and it wont change gears till around 4000rpm in 1st and 2nd and around 3000rpm in 3rd.

How do i adjust the cable to make it shift a little/lot better??
cheers

Jack

You just pull the outer cable at the throttle end to tighten the cable and wit the engine off get in the car and push the accelerator pedal to the floor and the cable will ratchet back into the correct position, you may have to try one or two clicks either side to get it to change how you like.

Just try one click either side. It will make a difference. When I adjusted mine a few times it's change was a bit too snappy for me so I released it slightly.
