VN 1990 V6 S2 Starter Motor

I have just purchased a fully reconditioned 5 year Warranty Starter Motor for my VN 1990 V6 S2. $67 NZ Dollars. Should I have purchased another V6 Starter Motor that is smaller and grunter than the bulky one I have now, with only having to change the bolts?

They both work fine apparently the smaller one uses less power and is stronger but I wouldn't worry to much, oh and the smaller ones sound different.
