vp front shocks with kmac tops

hey everyone got my car going good with the new motor now just gotta fix the next problem i have a masive front end alighment problem got bald spots on my 6 month old tyres so i got a good set of front shock with ssl springs and kmac tops in my red vn parts car. I was just wondering can i take the hole lot out without spring compressers? and should it be a straight change to put the kmac tops in?

I did my old VP easy as unbolt it it should fall out, then compress it out. I didnt put the new K-Mac in as it had it in, But i just marked where it was when i took the strut out, Pretty easy job...also side note my strut tower ended up cracking cos of the Nothalane bush on the top

For the top of the strut: Just undo the three nuts holding the top of the strut, no need to undo the large nut in the middle (this keeps the spring in compression)
