Vn berlina 202

I like the shape of the vn. But im old school so iam goin to put a 202 in to a vn berlina so i reap out that dash the 3.8 and box and all the wiring {i hate wiring} im going to put a alluminum dash in it all the gauges and speedo stero. It has still got carpet 5 seats all the belts brake acc clutch. Will i be able to get it registed.

The environmental reg's for pollution go with the donor car, not the motor. You can put a newer motor in an older car for this reason but not an older motor in a newer car. The first time a cop saw it it'd be off the road for good and you'd probly get a big fine to boot.

The car would need to pass the emision standards applicable for the VN and no way would a 202 with a carby do that. V6 motor is much better and the wiring/electronics in a VN are not that complicated.
