A mate of mine bought a VN a couple of years ago off his sister, expecting to drive it on his P's. Since then, he has bought a panel van for work and doesnt need it... so... he needs to get rid of it as it is taking up space.
My question is, should we clean it up, service it and try to sell it... or just advertise it as is for a quick sale or for parts?
It has been driven every now and then so it doesnt just die on their property, the bodywork is straight, no panel damage, front drivers seat will need fixing because the back support no longer stays up, will need new tyres, a service and just some tlc. it still starts an runs, motor is fine. it is a VN series 1 in its mid to high 200,000s
Any advice would be appreciated! cheers
Sell as is
Illegitimi Non Carborundum
sell as it is mate, not worth putting any money into, especially with those k's on it.
