    Default VN steering wheel

My car (vn executive) developed a weird issue with the horn & steering yesterday & I've traced it back to the area directly behind the boss kit. Something caused the positive horn wire to snap inside the boss kit & I don't have a soldering iron to put a new wire onto the ring. I'm left with little choice for now other than to put the original wheel back on, the trouble is it has been several years since I pulled it off & I've forgotten how it goes back together. So I'm wondering if anyone has a detailed diagram of the steering wheel assembly that they can post or link me to? I don't really just want to guess at it.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hey mate why don't you nip down to bunnings or supercheap auto or even a 2dollar shop, I always see soldering irons dirt cheap, cheers

Yeah I'll do that when I get around to it. I actually spent some time going over it today & discovered that the problem was the plastic ring behind the boss kit was worn right down & had moved out of place, taking the brass horn contact ring with it. The whole lot had managed to make the horn short when the steering wheel was turned & made the steering super heavy & jerky when turned left. Was downright dangerous. I've managed to fix it temporarily but I've still got to fix it properly. When I do the proper fix I'll make sure I've got a soldering iron on hand so I can fix the wire & put my momo back on.
