Windscreen seal question

Howdy all

Just had my windscreen replaced (cracked) and decided to do a little rust repair before they put a new screen in

Anyway I've noticed the new seal they have put in only goes to the bottom of the A pillars whilst the old one I took off went around the bottom of the screen as well

Just wondering if this is normal or not or if I should call the windscreen mob and get a full length seal (or cut the bottom bit out of the old seal and put that back in) to avoid any issues in the future as it looks like water will pool in the channel at the bottom of the windscreen

The seal they would have put on is universal it comes in big rolls it shouldn't matter if ther isn't any on the bottom.
