Guys- has anyone installed the heavy duty Nolathane pins in their VN? I'm curious as to how people found the extra length of the pins. Looking at mine, they look about 10cm longer than the factory pins.
The only way I can see them fitting is with the sway bar pivoted up to clear them. Is this the only way around it? I'm guessing the extra length is to suit the revised placement of the sway bar on the VP through to later models but that seems to leave the old VN out in the cold.
Anyone got any advice? I've currently got some pins on there with the ball joint and want to swap them out for the Nolathane brand pins.
Cheers.
I thought the ball joint type pins were a superior option over the standard bush + pin setup? Aren't they like $200ish from nolathane compared to $50 for the pin and bushes?

Yes the ball joints are the better option and are indeed more expensive.
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
The ball joint pins I have are OEM brand ones. They were about $40 each.
I don't understand why they are so much longer than standard but still recommended for VN.
