hey everyone im about to do my sump seal on my vn v6 and i was just wondering is there anything i should look for or at while im down that way

are you taking the engine out, or gonna do it with it in.

Check engine mounts, they sag and you know cause the clearance between back of sump and crossmember will be stuff all.

If the sump is coming off and out, I would clean the oil pick-up.

Before u do the sump degrease it and make sure there r no more oil leaks any where else.mite as well check ur gear box mount and gearbox pan gasket for leaks.

Also, once the sumps off, look for plastic that guides/adjusts the timing chain.
Any debris, metal filings...

Hopefully you won't see any of them, but if you do, that'l let you know what else needs doing
