    Default AC Heat Issue

Hey, when driving around it feels like my heater is always on a bit, the footwell of the dash and bottom of center console always feel hot, when putting the ac on tho it gets cold but when the temp drops in the summer and its cool outside it still feels warmish in the car if that makes sense.

the dial on the dash is on fully cold and if i turn it to mid range warm the heat kicks in fast
    so what's happening

Check the heater tap which is down under the brake master cylinder there somewhere, you can see the heater hoses going to/from it.Id get someone to turn the heater on and off with the engine running, and see if you can feel the lever on the tap moving. If its not,you might have a vacuum leak somewhere. Also these heater taps can get corroded up inside and not open or close properly too.It might be stuck open a bit.Its not hard to remove it and clean it out and check if its working ok.

Could also be the rod for the cold/hot dail has come off

If u havnt replaced the heater tap in a while, id just do it, common to find em broken anyways even tho it looks ok, there cheap 25-40 depending 15min to change
