was just wondering wat u need 2 change to fit a vs motor in to a vn
It depends on you, apart from the basic things like wiring not lining up with the various sensors on the engine because they are in differnet spots the ECU is a totally different system but from what I have been told you could probably get an Ecotech to function using a VN ECU however you would not have sequential injection.
I did speak to a guy a while back who had put a supercharged VY motor into a VP and kept the VP ECU, he was running it on LPG so the sequential injection bit did not matter.
The benefit of sequential injection is reduced emmissions and better fuel economy and if the VS motor needs to comply with it's exhaust emmission standards even when inthe VN then you may have difficulty there?
