VR intermittent wiper, central locking, interior light on door open, etc not working

Hi all,

Recently on my VR the following things all died at once:
- Intermittent wiper - wipers don't move, have to use continuous wiper or fast continuous wiper
- Central & remote locking are dead
- Interior light does not turn on when doors open
- Headlights only remain on when key turned to engine on

Just wondering, what could have broken? has someone got a wiring diagram that might show a common cause? Hopefully it's a loose wire...

These items you mention are all controlled by the BCM or Body Control Module,It sounds like the BCM has stuffed up.You could try resetting it by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a couple of minutes.If theres no difference after doing this,then you might have to get another BCM and try that out to see if the faulty systems now work,also the remote key fob on the ignition key has to match the BCM for security purposes,the car wont start if they dont match-(immobiliser),so if you get another BCM,make sure you get the matching ignition key fob that belongs to the same car that the BCM comes from, and then swap it over with your old plastic fob.
