Default how much would you pay for a vp 5L sedan

hi all, theres a white vp 5L auto sedan at a dealership here and they want $1700 for it but i rekon i can get them lower.its white(paint needs work it's had panels resprayed with clear over base and the clears lifting),it's on gas,has front power windows and an old bloke owned it since new.it needs a general clean up.needs-centre bearing, ignition barrel,l/h headlight, brakes need work and it looks like the l/h radius rod might need replacing(crossmember has taken a bit of a hit where the tow hook is)and it has a few oil leaks.it's really straight though and won't take much to paint it.when i took it for a spin i drove it like it should be driven and it went pretty hard and runs good on gas.they rekon it's had work done to the heads but i'd say the work done was just for the gas.any ideas what price it's worth now and what it would be worth cleaned up and resprayed? i can't remember how many k's are on it or what badge it is.cheers

You probably wont get a VP 5.0L much cheaper than that anyway (working car that is)

VP's are easy to fix up and parts are not to pricey for the Exec stuff.

If it a exec then depending on condition anywhere up to $3500-$4000, and the more problems the less it's worth obviously.
