VN splutering while ideling and driving

My VN starts ok and can be driven for anywhere between 1 - 5 mins before spluttering like she out of fuel but she still has half a tank. Any ideas other then fuel injetor problem? I snaped my exhuast a few weeks back and it started soon after could that have caused it?

what do you mean by snapped your exhaust mate? and also when it starts 'spluttering' does it stall the car at all? and also in the first minute before it starts spluttering does the car seem to have full power or does it feel underpower?

I snapped the exhaust reversing out a steep driveway, i caught the tailpipe on the road and it snap completely at the weld where it joins to the muffer box under the back passanger seat. As for stalling it hasn't konked out on me yet but it shutterers heaps like it's going to and it seens to be a little underpoweredand 3 --4 seconds before it starts. Also i've noticed when i'm driving and i take m foot of the accelerater it seems to putter/misfire (without the bang) sorry if this confusses you lol i'm not used to explaining car stuff to people cus i don't trust anyone i know to help me

i'd recommend taking it to an exhaust specialist and get them to have a look, if theres a hole or a blockage in your muffler/exhaust pipe then that could definately explain it mate.... just what i'd do....
